Anointing vs. Gifting

There are 250 million photos uploaded to Instagram daily, and 400 million photos uploaded to Facebook daily. We are a narcissistic generation- it’s all about us!
Churches are still full of people in bondage. There is worship everywhere, and yet there are people who aren’t free. How can the world be in so much bondage? People walk into churches week after week, but they are still bound!
God’s Word is not bound. Churches can’t save us, but they can grow us.
We have gifted worship leaders, but we need anointed ones!
Gifts will stir people, but the anointing of the Lord destroys the yoke (Isaiah 10:27).
Anointing oil comes
through crushing
We get anointing through crushing.
Most congregants don’t know the difference between gifting and anointing. We are entertained by gifts, but we are changed by the anointing. How many of you want a deep, next level change?
God is pointing us together for amazing moments! We connect people to Jesus!
God chooses leaders
God chooses- don’t forget that!
So many people today are suffering from anxiety, worry, and depression because they are running a race they were never chosen to run. Promotion comes from God alone.
Remember: God is not obligated to sustain what He has not started.
What God orders, He pays for. If we run a race we weren’t chosen for, then we are just parading ourselves and losing our destiny. Don’t forget that God chose you.
You won’t ever be satisfied unless you are doing what God has called you to do. God knows what’s best for you; die to yourself daily. Be faithful where God has placed you because those around you are valuable to God. We have to value others! We must value everybody’s assignment.
We all have some visibility, but we must never confuse visibility with significance.
We should seek eternal rewards.
Let’s live, give, and rise!
Stop scrolling through everybody else’s life and live yours. If whatever you are doing or looking at is not edifying you or blessing you, then stop. Get it off of your phone and follow what inspires you and changes your life!
Sometimes you’re not invited to your own party
Stop looking for the famous and raise up the anointed!
David wasn’t invited to his own party (1 Samuel 16:6-7).
We are the visual generation that sees and thinks.
You may say, “People don’t see my gift.” Well David’s father didn’t see the right son, Samuel the prophet didn’t see the right man, but God did. Everything we need is in the House of God. Don’t look out somewhere else.
It’s always an issue of the heart
Samuel was looking for the next Saul, but God was looking for the next king.
God looks at the heart. Every issue of life stems from the heart.
Your heart will either take you off-course or keep you on course.
There is no private sin. It will become public.
What is in us will eventually come out of us one way or the other.
Our heart is the catalyst to the anointing!
Your heart will determine how you live your life.
Don’t get mad at people when they don’t agree with you, especially when your heart isn’t right.
Thanks for sharing, but this looks eerily similar to the points made by Christine Caine at a talk she gave a few years ago. (Youtube link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KahnuYJ_yA).
