Developing Super-Boldness In Prayer

I can't help but think of what Jesus said to Peter in the upper room the night He was betrayed. Having told Peter that Satan had asked to sift him as wheat, Jesus said:
"But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren." (Luke 22:32, NKJV)
This intercession of Christ prevented the failure of Peter's faith.
Peter's love and courage had failed, but not his faith.
Intercession is a triangle of prayer:
One person going to another person to get bread for a third person. (Luke 11:5-8)
Jesus is interceding, the Holy Spirit is interceding, and we are to intercede.
We are never more like Christ than when we are praying for others.
Intercession is BOLD praying.
Daring - BOLD - audacious! All the intercessors of the Bible had these qualities.
See how Moses makes intercession for the Israelites in Exodus 32:7-13.
He makes two bold statements to God:
He tells God that destroying His own people will ruin His reputation.
He says to God that if He destroys His own people, He will be violating His own Word. (verse 13)
This one man wielding the weapon of intercession saved an entire nation.
Intercession is stubborn praying.
In Genesis 32:24-32, Jacob wrestled with an angel.
He wept and pleaded for a blessing from the angel (Hosea 12:4), saying, "I will not let you go until you bless me."
Have you ever heard of an angel who could not break away from a mere human if he really wanted to? That fight was fixed.
The angel said to Jacob "Let me go.", but what the angel really wanted was for Jacob to hold on a little longer so that Jacob could receive the blessing.
Remember the SUPER-BOLD always wins!
Tips On How To Pray
It is not wrong to address each person of the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
Your prayer can take the form of confession, praise, petition, or intercession.
Learn to worship God in your praying. Out of your worship and thanksgiving will come confession of sin. (Daniel 9:4-14)
Present your petitions before God and intercede as the Spirit guides you. (Romans 8:26-27)
Claim God's promises in faith. (1 John 5:14-15)
Go forward believing God has heard you, and He will answer.
