Luke 2:10-11
Great joy came in the world!
The angel said, “I bring you good tidings of great joy.”
That first Christmas Day made it possible for all people to have a great future filled with God's amazing love, perfect peace, and great joy.
I love living in joy and helping people find the ministry of cheerfulness.
I'm sure all of you have seen the pencil sketch of Jesus laughing and full of joy.
We want the Joyful face of Jesus to be the first thing that people see when they visit us this Christmas.
1. Be of good cheer
John 16:33 He commanded us to be of good cheer because he has overcome the world.
Don’t major on the trouble but major on the fact that Jesus has overcome the world.
You were created to walk in the joy of the Lord everyday of your life.
Think about it, would you want to be the God of someone who is depressed and angry.
Replace the groaning and complaining with rejoicing!
2. Joy is a vital part of your life.
“The healing power of joy also works like medicine in your body.”
“A merry heart doeth good like medicine.” (Proverbs 17:22)
Hospitals are filled with people whose problems are filled with stress, worry, and anxiety.
You were created to walk in the joy of the Lord.
His joy can keep you living well!
Remember you can live in joy because Jesus has overcome the world.
Find the joy this Christmas
