By Pastor Warren Richardson

She lost her parents at an early age, but refused to build her future around past tragedies. She was the most beautiful woman in 127 provinces, yet depended on the weaponry of fastingto achieve her goals. Her people were targeted for a massacre but she aborted it through skillful decision making. Her name was Esther.

The warrior is not known for their weapons, but their wisdom!

Wisdom Keys of Esther

Wisdom Key # 1

She respected the counsel of those in authority over her. (Esther 2:20)

  • Mentors are shortcuts to your success.

  • Moses mentored Joshua. Elijah was the golden link for Elisha.

  • Esther was teachable.

Wisdom Key # 2

She was troubled by the troubles of others. (Esther 4:2,4)

  • Champions respond to captives.

  • Esther was sensitive to the pain of others. It mattered to her.

  • Compassion ruled her.

  • She reached out to create changes for those she loved.

  • Greatness Responds

Wisdom Key # 3

She had a willing heart. (Esther 4:16)

  • God designed your dream to depend on Him.

  • Your dreams will not just happen.

  • Great goals are rarely easy to achieve.

  • She could have been killed, but her future mattered to her more than her present.

  • Daniel & Esther had amazing wisdom to go with their dreams.

Wisdom Key # 4

She depended on the weapon of fasting instead of her physical beauty to accomplish her goal. (Esther 4:16)

  • Unfortunately relationships based on physical attraction alone crash on the rocks of reality.

  • Esther knew this. That's why she was the queen of destiny.

  • The audacity of dreams & faith can create amazing wisdom!
